Mortal Wayfare is an old-school 2D RPG for Android currently under development. To obtain access to pre-release builds and participate in the game’s advancement through, among other things, finding bugs, submitting suggestions and helping develop the world, you will need to start by registering with this website. Once registered, the private forums will be accessible.

This game has a long, long way to go, so any and all assistance is appreciated.

Mortal Wayfare Introduction

This is an old-school retro 2D turn-based RPG built for Android.

Started in March 2013, this has been a part-time hobby to learn Java and Android after a 20-year hiatus from programming. The last time I did any serious development it was in BASIC, Assembly, Pascal, Lisp and C: object oriented didn't even exist. Of course, there were also no frameworks, no windows, no touch screens and no mobile. In a sense, this project is a challenge to myself to see if I've still "got it" (spoiler: I do) while nostalgically connecting with some of the favorite games from my youth.
